Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP) 2023-2027
The Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP) serves as a guide for outdoor recreation investment and management decisions on public lands statewide, including setting goals for use of $37 million in federal outdoor recreation funding.
Public comment period for SCORP 2023-2027 was open November 1-28, 2022. It is now closed.
The Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP) is a product of the Alaska Department of Natural Resources - Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation (DPOR). The DPOR team is now incorporating the received comments through December 2022. The final 2023-2027 SCORP will be available at the DPOR website in early 2023.
SCORP 2023-2027 provided a unique opportunity for Alaskans to influence the development and implementation of the recreation plan to better our communities and economy.
